SRI RAGAVENDRASCHOOL, believes in the culture of reading. The campus lays claim to a troveof 5000 plus books in our library for all the age groups of students and facilitators . It subscribes to various magazines & periodicals covering varied topics and subject related content.
Individual labs for Physics, Chemistry and Biology and computer science lab have been set up. Students from standard VI onwards do experiments in groups with the supervision and encouragement of teachers. Computer science lab only allows the students from I standard onwards.This helps them to build up their understanding of the fundamentals and concept development.
The audio visual room has OHP, slide projector and screens. It has a collection of educational CDs and DVDs. The main purpose of having this facility for students is the fact that whatever is seen by our eyes is retained by the brain more effectively than just reading or listening to it.
At Sri Ragavendra School, safety comes first, not only when children are within the secure school premises, but also when the children are in transit. This is why each one of our vans and buses is stationed with a Maid, Guard, and Facilitator to care for the children. The vehicles are fitted with auto speed governors for maintaining safe speed for the bus and for providing children with a safe drive to and from school. Regular attendance is also taken in the bus to monitor the children's travel.
National and International days, functions and celebrations added colour to the campus. Practicing secularism, celebrations of all faiths find its way in the campus. The teachers make it a point to bring out the true essence and the underline value of every celebration. Collaboration and feeling oneness is the moto for all celebrations.
